• Check out Hoda's mugshot! (OK, it's fake)

    Dateline NBC

Just kidding! Hoda's mugshot is to celebrate Dateline's 20th anniversary.

    @datelinenbc

    See? It's all for fun.

NBC's Dateline debuted a fun new Facebook toy to celebrate its 20th anniversary, and of course, Hoda was one of the first ones to try it out.

"Mugshot Yourself" is a photo app that lets you put yourself in a lineup, just like the criminals on the show. Hoda joined fellow Dateliners Keith Morrison, Chris Hansen and Josh Mankiewicz in taking their own police snaps in honor of two decades of real-life perp-busting.

If loving wine and anchoring is a crime, lock Hoda up and throw away the key. You can make your own mugshot here.

  • Kris Jenner on Kim and Kanye: 'She knows what she's doing'

Having trouble actually keeping up with the Kardashians? Fear not: Kris Jenner gave a candid interview to Hoda and Kardashian god-mother Kathie Lee about about Kim, Khloe, and the rest Tuesday.

On encouraging Khloe to get a paternity test: "I'm somebody who likes to get right to the problem. Somebody says something, then prove them wrong… For me, I want somebody to be 150% sure."

On Kim's relationship with Kanye: "He's been a family friend for a really long time and he's a nice guy. If your kids are happy, you're happy… My kids are really smart about, you know timing and all that, so she knows what she's doing."

On Kim's 18-second marriage: "She feels horrible about what happened… Her priority now is work. She's full speed ahead and having the time of her life."

On overexposure: "Some of it you can't control… So you just have to recognize, you know, it sells magazines, so they're going to print what they want to print."

On who holds her purse: This guy. Yep. The ladies poked fun of Kris and her designated purse holder, Drew, who is also her bodyguard.  And yes, that is a matching tie.

If you watched the fourth hour Tuesday, you may have seen a man outside the "window to the world" dancing joyously…while Kathie Lee and Hoda spoke with a doctor on the subject of infertility.

The fact that the fans in the plaza can't hear what's going on in the studio sometimes makes for an awkward performance art. Many eagle-eyed viewers noticed the enthusiastic bald gent working it while a serious talk was happening just feet away.

Did you spot him? We're assuming he didn't know he was shaking his moneymaker to spoken-word accompaniment about low sperm count.

  • Which food defies the 5-second rule?

Do you ever pick up something off the floor and eat it, citing the all-powerful five-second rule?

Well, that may be grosser than you think, depending on what kind of food it is. Between ham, a PBJ and pasta, which do you think soaks up the most bacteria in five seconds?

If you guessed the pasta, you're right. Foods with higher salt content are less likely to pick up bacteria, Kathie Lee shared, after one of each was tossed onto the studio floor.

Then, she brought up a good point.

"Who's gonna eat pasta off the floor?" she asked.

Hoda said she wouldn't, but she might, if it was an Oreo.

"I have a very serious question for you," Kathie Lee asked Hoda. "Are you happy with your sex life?"

She wasn't being nosy — it was purely for science purposes. A new survey from Yahoo! Shine and Fitness magazine asked women if they were as satisfied as they could be, in the bedroom area.

Hoda said she was "very happy" and KLG said she was "thrilled to pieces." The majority of the 1,000 survey respondents said they were getting down with their significant other between 1 and 3 times a week. And what gets the average lady in the mood? Dinner, a sexy movie, and wine.

"Just the wine for me," twinkled Hoda.

KLG tried to bring up the effects of Mexican food on intimacy again, but Hoda swiftly cut her off and shouted, "Stop talking about that!" That's probably for another kind of sex survey entirely.

  • Women, how often do you look in the mirror? Study says 8 times a day

How much time do you spend ogling yourself? If you're about as vain as the average lady, new research suggests it's probably around eight times a day. Half of the women surveyed by Simple Skincare also said that they never left the house without some kind of portable mirror.

That sounds like a lot of time to coo, "Hey, good lookin'" and shoot finger guns at yourself. But not so fast! Kathie Lee insisted that it depends on the mirror, and that it's not always about vanity. Like, what if you're only checking for stuff in your teeth and nose?

KLG, who admitted she has spent a lot of money on her teeth, only to find that every piece of food she eats gets lodged in there, spoke ominously "the goober that wouldn't die." So sometimes, you're just making sure you're not showing somebody the remnants of your spinach salad.

  • Betty White vs. Kathie Lee: Who's got better hula hoop skills?

When Betty White showed up in the studio Tuesday morning, Kathie Lee and Hoda wasted no time in trying to show off. Their boozy talent competition yesterday went a little less astonishingly than planned, and here was a chance to redeem themselves and impress a television icon.

Hoda made a second attempt at trick basketball, and Kathie Lee tried to prove she has pelvis game with her hula hoop. Alas, talent exhibition #2 was also a bit of a disaster. The ladies managed to spill some wine — and thankfully, a cleanup crew was standing by so nobody did an accidental gymnastics routine.

"I think you to are probably two of the most talented people I know," said Betty, charitably.

    "Who won?" asked Hoda.

    "I'd say it's a a draw," smiled Betty.

KLG worried that she'd lost her hula mojo, and thankfully, Betty took it upon herself to shake her hips at Kathie Lee to demonstrate how a pro keeps a hoop aloft, proving once again that there's really nothing that woman can't do.

A big "heeeeeyyy" to the Lumineers and their song "Ho Hey," which I revealed as my favorite thing today during this morning's chat. I just went to see them live a few weeks ago in Brooklyn and all I can say is WOW! Wondering what they sound like? They are a folk rock band whose album you can listen to straight through.

The Lumineers top my playlist right now, but they are in good company with another group called The Head and The Heart (another listen-straight-through group). I am also hooked on "Wild One" by Flo Rida featuring Sia and the hit that every baby is singing to (Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know"). What are you favorites? Any songs or groups I should check out? Tell me your recommendations!

Sara successfully walked on her hands ("She's a dyslexic tap dancer!" quipped Howie), while Hoda spun a basketball on her finger while sipping red wine from a crazy straw. (She was slightly more successful at the drinking part.) Kathie Lee tried and failed to hula-hoop while drinking a glass of Chardonnay. So who made the cut?

Howie gave Kathie Lee a 7 out of "?" possible points, and Nick… just drew a picture of a smiley face. Which was charitable.

  • What do you do if somebody 'steals' your baby name?

    James Cheng / msnbc.com

The top baby names of the year were released Monday and with them, a powder keg of a question has been raised: How do you feel about people baby-name poaching?

One expectant mom named Meghan experienced this first-hand. Meghan let slip at her office that she intended to give her baby a family name, Benjamin, she wrote to NY Times etiquette columnist Philip Galanes, who published her conundrum Sunday. Shortly after, Meghan's assistant, also pregnant, announced that she was also naming her baby Benjamin, because she'd dug the sound of it. Meghan asked Philip if she could call out the assistant for criminal copycatting.

Kathie Lee and Hoda were split on the issue. KLG thought Benjamin is too common a name to steal: "I think if it was Brently or Briella, that would be one thing," she argued. But Hoda suspected that the assistant may have taken the name purely for the sake of copycatting.

Facebook commenters had tons to say when we asked at KLGH and at TODAY Moms about Grand Theft Benjamin:

Michael Huffines said: "Happened to my sister. A cousin took her daughter's name before either was born. I'm sorta glad because it was a redneck name."

Heather 'Hill' Booker said: "When I told our first child's name after we found out we were having a girl, I had a lady tell me that it was the same thing she named her cat."

Jessica Wilkinson-Manfre said: "My ex husband and I agreed if we had a girl, we would name her "Megan Elizabeth", after my grandmother. We did not have a girl, but two beautiful boys. After our divorce, my ex husband's girlfriend became pregnant. She had a girl. My ex husband picked out her name... Megan Elizabeth. A stab in my heart. Downside: it was cruel. Upside: my sons have a sister named after my beloved grandmother."

One thing is for sure: Hoda's mom probably didn't have to deal that problem. KLG joked that "Hoda" probably didn't crack the top 100.

"Or the top 100,000," said Hoda.

What do you think? Is it stealing to take someone else's baby name?

  • Go Mother's Day craft crazy with DIY upcycling

Things got a little nuts today when the ladies decided to celebrate Mother's Day by honoring mother earth. Upcycling expert Danny Seo brought by VHS tapes, crayons, and old road maps to create a thoughtful keepsake shadow box fit for a mom.

Watch the video for actual tips on making Mother's Day crafts. Seo takes old materials (you smash the VHS cassette, for example, to use the actual tape inside as a ribbon, and the old mags and maps are wrapping paper). Ignore the chaos that ensued.

Because Hoda can make anything into a competition, she and her mother Sami faced off against Sara and Kathie Lee (whose mamas couldn't make it), crafting against the clock. Both teams struggled with faulty glue guns and ribbon malfunctions, and eventually, Sara just started hammering at the cassette while Hoda haphazardly pasted some ribbon in dada-esque nonsense shapes.

No real winner was emerging, so Danny politely noted, "I think we're out of time."

Hoda was not having it. "JUST JUDGE IT!" she screamed, holding up a piece of art that only a mother could love.

    Happy Mother's Day!
